JAMES BREEDEN is a Los Angeles-based British photojournalist covering news and features throughout the United States and the United Kingdom for the international media.
Graduating from Plymouth's PCAD in 2003 after studying Lens Based Media, James soon found employment with Warner Music in London, photographing Australian female solo artist Holly Valance over the period of her ‘State of Mind’ record campaign.
James then worked for the Plymouth Evening Herald and Western Morning News as a staff photographer throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, covering everything from Championship football to an assignment to Iraq with the British Army. During this time, James completed the three-month NCTJ press photography course in Sheffield, where he gained a record four distinctions in the four final exams and qualified as a senior photographer.
After three years James moved to South West News Service, a Bristol-based news agency, and had his pictures published in every British national newspaper, before joining BWP Media and being assigned to America where he is currently based.
